Creating a One-Page “About Me” for Your Child
A blog for families
Spotlight information about your child that includes their strengths, supports, and goals by creating a strengths-based “About Me” page. This one-page tool is an effective way to introduce your child to school staff who will be or have been working with them.
To involve your child in the creation of their “About Me” page, ask them what they want to share and what their goals are.
We suggest updating these yearly, before the start of the school year. If your child doesn’t already have one, there is no wrong time to create one!
We’ve created a few free templates that you may customize on your own. Or, if you wish for us to create one for your child for a small fee, click here!
